Research

My research is focused on the vibration analysis of cracked structural members. I’ve been using some numerical methods including the dynamic stiffness method (DSM), the Rayleigh-Ritz method, and the FEM. An application of my research is crack detection for plates and skeletal structures based on natural frequency measurement.
